Housing Services Manager
Location – Multi site location - Based at Springfields in Ashby De La Zouch, with the ability to travel to other emh care and support offices/locations across the East Midlands including Kettering and Chesterfield

Hours – 35 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary – £33,651 per annum

The role

Do you have experience of managing and delivering high quality housing management support in a supported housing setting?

 

Are you passionate about providing excellent services to people with extra support and complex needs?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing to join us to lead, manage and guide three schemes ensuring the delivery of excellent housing services and full wrap around support services to help our residents on their journey towards independence. You will ensure that clear standards and work plans and targets are set to provide continuous assistance and supervision.

 

 

About You:

 

  • You will share our values and passion to support vulnerable people.
  • You will have experience of working in a supported housing environment
  • You will knowledge of relevant housing legislation
  • You will have the ability to understand and implement service level agreements with partner agencies including drafting, negotiating, monitoring and reviewing
  • You will have experience of working with housing, and adult social care departments
  • You will have experience of supporting people to successfully apply for relevant benefits to maximise income, and support tenancy sustainment
  • You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills

 

About the Role:

 

  • You will be responsible for delivering an intensive housing management service across three sites.
  • The leadership and management of a small team of Project Workers at Carey Street, Kettering who provide a 24/7 intensive housing management service to individuals with a diverse range of needs.
  • You will be passionate about helping vulnerable individuals on their first steps towards independent living
  • You will coach and develop the team to encourage them to maximise their potential
  • You will build and maintain strong links and working relationships with internal and external partners
  • You will develop and implement policies and procedures and keep up with legislation and best practice.
  • You will manage the Service level Agreements for the Bistro and the hair salon at Springfields.

 

This is fantastic opportunity for the right person to work with a team of passionate individuals in leading the development of our specialist housing service.

You will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check for this role, which we will complete for the successful candidate.  As the role is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offender’s Act 1974, please can you ensure you detail both spent and unspent convictions on your application form.
